It was a hot and humid summer day in Alburnett, Iowa and even with a few drops of rain the day was perfect. Holding hands around the corner of Alburnett Unite Methodist Church Becca and Ross shared an intimate moment before their ceremony. They were so at ease together, you could see the stress of the day melting away even when they were together. When Ross proposed he put the ring on their dog's collar and let her find it, according to Becca it only took her 30 minutes to figure it out!! But it should be no surprise that their dog was a part of the proposal since their first date involved a trip to Ross' brother's farm so Becca could see the barn animals, knowing that animals are her favorite things in the world!
There was so much love put into making all the details for Becca and Ross' wedding, from the center pieces to the cake, it all came together in such a special way. Becca and her friends made all the centerpieces, a family member made their cake, and her maid of honor crafted a truly spectacular bouquet for her. It never ceases to amaze me what can be created with a little bit of love and creativity!
One of my favorite things about the wedding was the mother - daughter dance. It was so sweet and unique, it is something that I will remember for years to come, as I'm sure Becca and her mom will as well. The dances always have a way of getting to me, and this one definitely had me tearing up.
I loved the mixture of traditional and creative that made this wedding truly special.
Thank you to all the wonderful vendors!
