Makenna & John | A Beautiful Hand-Crafted Wedding

After all this time? Always.

Makenna and John's wedding day was a rush of emotions and the weather could not seem to make up its mind. While it started out pretty rainy we did have some amazing patches of sunshine to break up the day. We had so much fun tagging along with the wedding party, they were pretty boisterous and always ready for a laugh (case in point, check out the groomsmen's sick album cover)! They had us laughing right along with them every step of the way.

Makenna and John met in high school. When John proposed they were at a paintball tournament and John had pretended to be hurt. When Makenna came over to check on him he got down on one knee, the video is so sweet!

The most awesome part of the day was seeing all of Makenna's hand-crafted decorations. From the bouquets to her ring box, not a single decoration was untouched by her and her girls! I'd have to say my favorite piece was the gold painted globe that they used for a guestbook, and the ring box, oh and the bouquets! OK it's really really difficult to pick just one!! Everything was a testament to how much care and love Makenna and her friends and family put into creating this special day.

I met Makenna, her mother and John's mother nearly two years ago when we set up a consultation. I loved hearing about all her ideas and crafting plans for the wedding and I can easily say she hit every mark! Their engagement session at Palasades State Park is here if anyone would like to take a look.

Makenna and John, thank you so much for letting us be such a big part of your wedding day. Congratulations and here's to a wonderful 2018!
